Gugulethu Seven Memorial

Gugulethu is the second "black" township established in the Cape Flats about 15km away from the city. In Gugulethu, seven young men belonging to ANC's armed wing were ambushed and killed by South African security forces in the morning of March 3rd, 1986. The Gugulethu Seven Momorial was built to commemorate the life and death of those activists.
